How to choose your wedding florist

The flowers at a wedding are usually one of the things that guests will remark upon; whether it is the scent, the colours, the scale of the arrangements, unusual flowers, or the atmosphere that they create. Floral arches are beautiful and make a real statement as well as a lovely backdrop for photographs. If you have a wedding outside flowers can be used to decorate a gazebo and make it a real focal point for the day. If you will be indoors for the ceremony flowers can really brighten a room as well as decorate it and lots of blooms in the same colour can really have a wow factor. Small bunches of flowers tied to the seats at the aisle, or at the end of church pews make a lovely avenue to walk up and a beautiful scent for your guests to enjoy while they wait for you to make your entrance. Speak to your florist about the flowers and make sure that it is something you like, or discuss faux arrangements if you suffer from hay fever and want to save teary eyes for when you are saying your vows!
